Hello... You are looking at our original New Old Stock 1979 Ampeg V-4 Amplifier with matching V-4 Ampeg 4 x 12 Speaker Cabinet. Purchased by us, M.E.S. Music Equipment Sales Ltd. as an authorized Ampeg Dealer at the time, this amplifier/speaker set has NEVER been sold. It was delivered to us in August 1979 and has been on display in our store for thirty-five (35) years. Unbelievable!!! I would doubt that it has as much as one (1) hour of play-time in all those years!
This Ampeg V-4 Amplifier, Serial Number 162253 with matching Ampeg 4 x 12 Speaker Cabinet, Serial Number 168305 was built during the Magnavox/Selmer era in Elkhart, Indiana, U.S.A. Features include:

The Power Section : 100 watts RMS from 4 x 7027A Power Tubes
The Front Control Panel : Channel 1 input jack. Channel 2 input jack, Volume Channel ONE, Volume Channel TWO, Sensitivity 1 switch, Sensitivity 2 switch (Each -9 dB, -6 dB, 0 dB), Treble control w/3 position 12 dB attenuate, 0, 12 dB boost switch. Mid Range with ± 20dB and frequency selector for Lo Mid 250-300Hz, Mid 800-1000Hz and Upper Mid 2500-3000Hz. Bass Tone Control, Reverb, Master Volume and three rocker switches: Standby with orange indicator lamp, Polarity Reverse and On-Off with red indictor lamp.

Power Tubes: V5-8: 4 x 7027A 'Made in USA ' Magnavox. A note about these tubes: Three are original 'Made in USA ' Magnavox tubes. The fourth is a NOS 'Made in USA ' 7027A zero hour Groove Tube. That fourth Magnavox tube was accidentally broken during preparation for the photo shoot. I viewed the new old stock Made in USA G-T 7027A as a better replacement choice than other available off-shore tubes.
