Here is a NEW OLD STOCK set of IBANEZ YE553C-R Velve Tune B II Bass Machine Heads, 4-in-Line, RIGHT Mount. It has never been sold. Purchased by us, M.E.S. Music Equipment Sales Ltd., as an authorized Ibanez dealer in the late 1970's or early 1980's they were somehow overlooked and remained on a shelf for close to 30 something years.
The logo on the back of each machine head reads ' Ibanez Velve Tune B II'... I would not be surprised if these machine heads were supplied to Hoshino, Ibanez's parent company, by Gotoh... A company that has gone on to offer a well respected line of guitar, bass and instrument hardware under it's own marque... These Velve Tune B II Bass Machines look remarkably similar in design, fit and finish to Gotoh Tuners...
Please note that this is a set of RIGHT HAND Velve Tune B II Bass Machines. This means that they are MOST suitable for a LEFT HANDED bass OR one with a 4-in-Line REVERSE head stock...
