You are looking at a wonderful 1962 Hammond A102 Tone Wheel organ with Leslie 242. Along with the B3 and C3, these are the ultimate in organ sounds. It just does not get any better.
This instrument is perfect for a music oriented church. Excellent for backing up a Gospel Choir. It has the sound and the looks! This A102 set spent all of it's life in 2 different living rooms entertaining 2 different families...
Of the A10X series of tone wheel organs, the A102 designation describes it as having the French Provincial style cabinet with Dark Cherry finish.
As you can see, the A102 has two 61 key manuals and 25 radiating bass pedals.
Included with this organ, besides the bass pedals, bench and cables, is a Leslie 242.
About this Leslie: The 33" decorator cabinet is finished in dark walnut. It is identical to the Leslie 142 which is a shorter version of the famous 122 (41") series of Leslie speakers for Hammond organs. Images and detailed description are included on a separate page...
This Hammond A102/Leslie 242 is in excellent working condition. I can see a few scratches and some sun fadded spots... I would conservatively rate it a 7.5 out of 10...
