You are looking at our vintage Shure 545S Series Unidyne® III dynamic cardiod microphone. Accompanying images accurately describe it's appearance. I would rate it a conservative 9 out of 10. And it sounds as good as it looks...
Designed in late 1959, and mostly referred to as a Pistol Grip mike, it was the go-to microphone for musicians in the 1960's and 1970's. And it is the forerunner of Shure's SM series of microphones, starting with the SM57. This mike would likely be circa early 1960's.
The 545s is a dual impedance mike... It is set up in the Lo-Impedence mode, but conversion to Hi is available.
